In this film director Edward Gillen tells the story of renowned 78 collector Joe Bussard. His library of 25,000+ rare sides-- blues, gospel, folk, and more-- forms an essential archive of American music from the 1920s and 30s.

As a documentary, everything works: the music, the archival footage of America, and of course, the enthusiasm of Joe himself, a man who discovered something he loved and continually went after it.
